User Manual – Club Greens
The Greens section is used to manage the greens and rinks available at your club. If there are missing greens for your club, these need to be added by a system administrator.
Please contact a BowlsLink System Admin to assist with fixing this.
The greens management section is linked to other components in the system. Greens available for member use and the greens used in competitions are taken from the information provided in this module.
Greens – Active/Inactive
The main screen shows the current greens assigned to your club. With multiple greens, you can use the standard search and filter functions to look for a particular green within your club and view the Active or Inactive Greens.

To edit the options for a green in your club, click on the action button and select edit green from the menu.

Details
The details for your green will be bought up. The managing club will default to your club, this cannot be changed in this screen, and requires a system administrator to change the management. The green short name is used to identify your green when you have more than one. The short name can be a number (for example: Green 1, Green 2, Green 3) or a letter (Green A, Green B, Green C). Alternatively, you can add a full name to better identify your greens. The time zone will default to your current club zone, but this can be adjusted if required.

The address for the green will default to the same address as your club. If you need to alter this, you can uncheck this box and enter the full address details for the green location.
The About details can be edited to reflect the particular details of the green, which may differ across the greens. These include:
- Surface
- Covering
- Supplier
- Lighting
- Installation/Replacement Dates

The final header are the Rinks. A green must have at least one rink included. The ditch rinks can be setup by ticking the boxes next to the rink. Click save and close to close the screen and save the information.
Greens can have the same Rink ID across various, for example example Green 1 and Green 2 can have the same Rink ID listed for both, such as the case where Green 1 may be used as 7 rinks but on occasions changed to 8 rinks, this will allow Rink 8 on Green 1 and Rink 8 on Green 2 with a competition administrator selecting the appropriate green per competition.
The purpose behind this is to allow greater flexibility of Rinks between Greens and the recommendation is for Clubs to allocate all Rinks possible on a Green (this may also include Rinks running North-South and East-West).

To have Greens and Rinks setup or changed for your Club, please contact bowlslink@bowls.com.au and advise us of the correct details.
