Home Page
Once members have logged in, they will see their new interface, including a four panel dashboard that includes Home, Competitions, Results, Account and More.
The Home page will display News, Upcoming Matches, Media links, Resource links and more in addition to a customised State or Territory Authority colour scheme. Each STA has had their colours uploaded into BowlsLink App, customising the experience to each user and representative of their State.
News will be linked to the State or Territory Authority of the member and their news feed from their direct websites. These articles can be viewed and read natively via the app.
Upcoming Matches will display any matches members are registered to that are being played in the short term, including details of the competition, date and time, competitor, section and round. There is an option for ‘See More’ which will show other matches on later dates with the same relevant information.
Clicking the match tile itself will direct members to the BowlsLink Results Portal with other details of the Competition and competitors.
Media Links will display for three (3) Bowls Australia links and four (4) relevant to the member’s State or Territory. These links will direct members to areas such as STA Youtube or Facebook, Bowls Australia Bowls Connect Newsletter, Club Support, Find a Club and more!

Competitions
An exciting and much requested development to the app is the ability for members to register for competitions via their mobile devices – this is now available.
The Competitions page will also allow members to filter their competitions by their Club, State, Region and National as well as manually searching for competitions by name and filtering by Format (Singles, Pairs, Triples or Fours), location (within a specified kilometer radius from the member) and dates.
From this page, members will be able to Enter and pay for (if payments are setup in the competition) their competitions simply from their mobile device. The steps to enter are similar to those of the desktop site, requiring them to nominate players, contact details, team name, any additional entrant information, payment and terms and conditions of entry.
Once completed, these will display on their Upcoming or My Competitions pages of the app.

BowlsLink Results Portal
The links to the BowlsLink Results Portal is still a feature of the BowlsLink App, directing members to their competitions and competitors and the ability to search for competitions across Clubs, States, Region and National in BowlsLink.

If the member’s Club has uploaded a logo, these are shown on the digital cards.
For memberships that are expired, they will also show as digital cards, however, they are in black and white instead of the colours of the Club – these can also be clicked on to view the history of the membership, including when it had expired.
Certifications
Another new feature of the BowlsLink App is the ability for members to view their Certifications with digital cards, replacing the physical cards that were previously utilised.
These certifications can be customised States and National administrators by colour and logo with the cards showing the certification type and expiry date and like the Club cards, when clicked on, they will display history of the certification.
Expired certifications will also show and coloured black and white.
